We look for people curious about how genome folding controls genes, at the bench or at the keyboard.
Roles in the lab
Postdoctoral fellows
We recruit wet-lab and computational postdocs to study how chromatin architecture shapes gene regulation in normal and cancer cells, with a focus on CTCF, CTCFL and their cofactors.
Experience with CRISPR and sequencing methods such as 3C, ChIP-seq, RNA-seq and ATAC-seq is valuable. Postdocs are expected to lead independent projects, preparing them for careers in academia or industry.
Staff scientists
For experienced researchers interested in how 3D chromatin structure modulates gene expression. Extensive CRISPR experience is expected, with sequencing approaches desirable. Staff scientists lead projects and collaborate across the lab.
Lab manager and research technicians
Help run the lab and carry out experiments, from cell culture and cloning to CRISPR editing and in vivo work, as part of a collaborative team.
Qualifications and responsibilities
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s in life sciences or a related field
- Cell culture and mouse handling experience
- General molecular biology and biochemical techniques
- Able to work independently while collaborating on shared goals
- Able to learn new skills and solve non-routine problems
- Strong verbal communication, attention to detail and ability to multitask
